I absolutely love your blog! I have a little agenda with some places you've been to that I want to go to. But I have a question about Eataly. I went there last Sunday and since my boyfriend and I were confused about seating and eating at the sit down places they had, we grabbed some focaccia and went across the street to sit and eat. So, if we wanted to eat at one of the sit downs, do we just sit down and wait? We don't want to look like idiots and just sit down and then have nothing happen. And, which sit down was your favorite?

Hey! Thank you so much!
If you want to sit down and eat you should give your name to the hostess and they will call you when a table is ready (i.e at the Pizza and Pasta restaurant). If you want to “stand and eat” there is the standing table bistro for meats, cheeses and wine…but you do get your own table to stand at and it does have waiter service. At the standing bistro, you can just pretty much go stand at the table you want and the waiters will bring you a menu. I would definitely recommend trying something at the stand up, then sharing something at one of the restaurants to get the full feel of the place.
Thanks for the questions!
